The past couple of weeks have seen many countries also ease their restrictions, making it even easier to travel. Not only that, but with increased demand, we are seeing airlines and tour operators increase their capacity.
Here’s what you may have missed this week:
- Bahrain eases its Covid restrictions for UK visitors
- Israel is set to drop vaccination requirements from next month
- The Cayman Islands drops arrival testing for those fully-vaccinated
- Jet2holidays has increased its capacity for Easter and spring
- Austria and Switzerland have both announced plans to relax their Covid-19 rules
- British Airways has added a daytime Newark flight from Heathrow
- Japan is set to relax Covid rules from March
- Finland and Lithuania have also relaxed their Covid-19 entry rules for UK travellers

Travel to England from another country
If you are fully vaccinated
Before you travel to England you must complete a passenger locator form. You need to do this in the 48 hours before you arrive in England.
You do not need to take any COVID-19 travel tests before you travel to England or after you arrive.
You do not need to quarantine when you arrive in England.
If you are not fully vaccinated
This is what you need to do if you do not qualify under the fully vaccinated rules for travel to England.
Before you travel to England you must:
Take a COVID-19 test – to be taken in the 2 days before you travel to England
Book and pay for a COVID-19 PCR test – to be taken after you arrive in England
Complete a UK passenger locator form – to be completed in the 48 hours before you arrive in England
You will need to enter your PCR test booking reference number in the passenger locator form.
